Homemade Banana Bread

The recipe you'll want to keep using, even after COVID quarantine has ended.



Recipe:

- 3 overripe Bananas

- 2 large free-range eggs

- 1/2 cup of oil

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

- 1/8 teaspoon of salt

- 1&3/4 cups of flour

- 1 cup of sugar

- 1 teaspoon of baking soda

- 2 Tablespoons of hot milk

- Half a block of Whittakers 50% Dark chocolate (or any other good quality Chocolate)


Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 190C and line a 10 x 20cm tin with baking paper.

2. Mash bananas in a small bowl and whisk together wet ingredient in another.

3. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl and combine with the wet ingredients and Banana.

4. Roughly chop Whittaker's chocolate before gently folding into the mix.

5. Pour mix into the tin and bake for 1hour.

6. After removing from the oven, cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool for a further 10 minutes.

7. Serve by cutting into 2cm thick slices with a dollop of Greek yoghurt and drizzle of honey.
